ActiveAid manufactures high-quality, stainless-steel bath, shower and commode products. Products offered are numerous and cover a vast array of user needs including location (toilet, bath, shower or stand-alone seating) positioning (height adjustable, seat slope, tilt-in-space, tilt and recline, and folding), and numerous support components. ActiveAid has pediatric, adult and bariatric lines – from simple raised toilet and modular seating systems to tilt-in-space, tilt and recline shower/commode chairs providing maximum support. ActiveAid products have been manufactured in our Redwood Falls, MN, facility for more than 60 years. ActiveAid has been a part of the AltimateMedical family of brands since 2018.
A wide range of standard features and options creates a system that enables clients and clinicians to determine priorities and consider environmental factors, then truly tailor the configuration to meet client needs without custom modifications. The frame has two height-adjustable size options (Standard and Short), which expands the seat-to-floor range and enables tailored bathroom/shower solutions. Additional features such as independent, adjustable seat slope, fore-aft seat aperture adjustment capability, back angle adjustment, and frame adjustments like rear wheel position represent user-focused design and a level of customization akin to lightweight manual wheelchairs rather than shower commode chairs.
